Thought is was pretty fun! I've never played Hotline before, but the general inspiration is definitely there visually. The gameplay being a mesh of that and Pac-Man provides some decent fun with a straightforward goal to simply beat up some dudes and collect the dots. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the occasional getting stuck onto a wall, but it didn't happen enough to kill the game for me. Excellent work overall!

MoeAnguish responds:

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the game!

It was enjoyable! The grind was a slog at times, and I feel like there needs to be a few tweaks on some of the skills (the charged attack is admittedly useless, taking too long to charge and often resulting in taking damage due to its iffy hit detection) but other than that the gameplay is engaging and I enjoyed surviving through the 350 enemies. I'd say for the charged attack either shorten the charge time or maybe have it work as a projectile, releasing a slash that can be fired from and hit enemies from far away.

Franuka responds:

Thanks for your feedback! I'll definitely improve the charged attack on the next game.

It's a fun game, but I feel like there are definitely some glitches that hamper the fun. Level 3 has this strange bug where it'll keep looping a few times after you beat it. The game overall however is fun.

TheMikirog responds:

That never happened to me or my playtesters. Those are different levels.

Love the visuals here! The games a good bit of fun, controls can be a bit slippery but were mostly manageable. Great work!

Jekdersnek responds:

Hey man, thanks! It really means alot to me. :)

Honestly, for your first entry this is some pretty great stuff! While the visuals did give me a bit of an eye sore after playing extensively, I found the mechanics to be fun, and the overall gameplay to be simple but challenging enough to where it didn't get boring. I thought the music and sound effects were pretty solid as well. Great job!

LeviRamirez responds:

Thank you so much, I should say though that technically... this is not my first entry. It took me many tries to get to this level and I'm still growing. I took down all of my old stuff when I uploaded cause it felt more like a burden to carry then something to grow from. They all looked and played and felt very similar along with being very underpolished. This game was my first really big step into trying to make a polished, fun and balanced game. It's not perfect but it's a HUGE leap forward for me. Thank you so much for the kind words <3

This was a lot of fun to play! Taking turns and dropping bombs by using whatever morse command you can setup is a simple feature but it's also effective, and throughout the brief missions I slipped up here and there due to forgetting about the crashing planes which occasionally made me think carefully. I would love to see this get expanded upon with a few more missions, enemy types, difficulty (no morse guide as the levels progress), and maybe making the game more time based than turn based. It was admittedly alittle on the easy side, but the premise was effective enough to keep me entertained throughout the game. Great work!

Mantis1 responds:

Nice review! I'll consider those suggestions :D

It's very simple and straightforward but the interactions and solid audio made things interesting to run through. Pretty good!

Criobite responds:

Thanks for playing! :)

Nothing particularly interesting here right now. But it's far from unplayable. I would like to see where this goes in the future.

Almighty05 responds:

Thanks Dude!
I'm only starting out on PuzzleScript at the moment, but I promise you, these games will get better overtime.
Thanks for your feedback though!

Very impressive considering that it only took you six hours! The controls are pretty loose, but I did enjoy the music and overall atmosphere. Good job!

Wituz responds:

Thank you SummerOlives.
Good with a positive yet constructive comment.

It's a fine little game, although abit to easy on the difficulty. Gameplay mechanics are functional, the tower literally destroys everything within a few level ups, leaving the clicker helpless but to watch. And you can also technically never die because the shield is constantly regenerating and from what I've played there is no death animation. Overall, it's a generic forgettable flash game overall.

pGema responds:

Thank you for your feedback.
I made a death animation monsters, but it looked badly, so removed it.
In the next part I will try to redo it.
