It's understandable that you are publishing multiple efforts however in my opinion you might want to ease back and focus on reworking the animation, dialogue, and story as a whole.

A very unique art style, excellent animation, and an engaging story sets this short as one of the best I've seen on Newgrounds thus far.

[One Piece Parody]

Not bad at all! Keep it up.

[DAMIEN & DEZZ |EPISODE 1| CHICKEN GUN]

It has potential, however the short does contain a handful of small problems that effect the quality of this comedy.

Firstly, I think the animation is decent enough and the voice actors did a passable job along with the good audio quality. However, although this is the first episode of this possible mini-series, I think it would be beneficial if in Episode 2, the opening was a lot shorter namely that it takes up a good third of the episode and the credits takes up another. Dialogue, was also pretty forgettable for a comedy. That being said, I wish you the best of luck in future shorts and you do have potential to make something better.

Summarized:

+ Good Audio Quality.

+/- Voice Acting

- Opening/Ending was too long.
- The comedy lacks any noteworthy laughs.
- Ends alittle too soon, feels unfinished.

Thanks for the feedback, yeah, for future episodes I'm definitely gonna leave out the huge theme song. :) and this whole thing is based on some shirt comics I made like 5 years ago, I hadn't got into the 'swing' of things quite yet. So I'll try to make sure future ones have more laughs and quotable things. :)

Needless to say, this is almost unwatchable. The animation is pretty bad, featuring very poor character movements and poor character designs. The dialogue is hard to understand when the voices are sped up, but even when I gathered up the dialogue I honestly can't see how this is a comedy considering that nothing even remotely funny happens. Honestly, this might be one of the weakest submissions I've seen on Newgrounds so far. I know this sounds harsh, and make no mistake I'm not insulting you by any stretch, but you really need to take the criticism into consideration and polish the animation more.

[Ryu vs. Twelve]

Okay, so I thought the fight was decent enough. However Akuma being Ryu's dad, the dialogue, and the hug was just so mindnumbingly poor, that I literally couldn't stop laughing at how stupid that must have sounded on paper. The secret scene is nothing too special, just a sprite swap at the end credits. Overall, I think "Nothing too new, or interesting" really sums up this short being that it's not bad for it's brief run, but as reviewers have already pointed out, this is something that's been done time and time again, and that if you're not going to expand on dialogue nor bring in a unique effort, than needless to say these shorts simply are not worth watching. Try Again.

[Johnny Test Parody]

Johnny Test: Series Finale. Cooke Jar Entertainment, made all the stops on this with high budget animation, state of the art vocal acting, and a plot so convolutedly-beautiful, that Johnny Test will forever remain in our hearts for many years to come.

The parody is spot on and hilariously fun.

Update: 05/09/21 - Years later I still love revisiting this.

Good Job! The animation is starting to grow on me abit more, and it's still pretty fluid. Voice acting was pretty decent and audio quality is once again great. Keep it up!

[AI - Johnny VS Spiders]

The joke was alittle too simplistic, and the dialogue wasn't all to clever. The animation was passable, it's fluid but the character designs just look weird, but I suppose that's nitpicking. Aside from that, the voice acting was decent and the audio quality was pretty solid. I think you could have potential so long as you keep trying and working on the jokes. Keep Trying!

I’m not sure what kind of joke you were expecting, but I think this is one of those situations where “If you didn’t like it, then you didn’t get it.” I also can’t take you seriously about the character designs based on your avatar. I hope the voice acting was good considering I do all the characters. I’m glad you think I have potential. Gosh golly I hope I make it somewhere.
